"I use the Allstate app mostly to check..."
I use the Allstate app mostly to check my policy and pay my bill, and it usually gets the job done. But it still feels clunky, like some pages take forever to load right when I’m trying to handle something quickly.
The login is probably the most annoying part. Face ID works sometimes, then other times it randomly makes me sign in again, usually at the worst possible moment when I’m already in a rush or trying to make a payment before I forget.
It’s not a bad app, but it’s not exactly smooth either. It handles the basics, but I wish it was faster, easier to get around, and didn’t pick such inconvenient times to act up.

"I had to file a claim recently..."
I had to file a claim recently and I was expecting it to be a whole hassle, it actually moved along fast. I did have to wait on a couple calls, but once everything was in, the payout got taken care of without much dragging around. Overall, it was a decent experience
"Underwriting was honestly frustrating"
I got denied after underwriting, nobody could really give me a straight answer as to why. It was just, you know, a frustrating experience overall.

"I’ve been trying to get in touch with..."
I’ve been trying to get in touch with my Allstate agent for days, but it’s been voicemail every time or just no response at all. I’ve sent emails too, and when I finally did get a short reply, it didn’t really answer what I was asking. It’s frustrating because insurance questions can be stressful, and not getting help makes it feel like you’re being ignored. the whole experience left me feeling disappointed and uneasy

"good coverage, but the rates keep creeping up"
the coverage has been solid and i haven’t had any major issues. it’s still okay overall, just getting more expensive than it used to be.

"Billing hasn’t matched what I expected"
There are things I do like about Allstate, so I wasn’t expecting the billing side to be such a headache. My payment amount changed, and it didn’t line up with what I had been told before, which was frustrating. I ended up having to call twice just to get a clear explanation. It wasn’t a complete nightmare, but I expected this kind of thing to be way more straightforward.

"Waited way too long"
I was on hold for what felt like forever, nobody ever picked up or actually helped me
"I tried using a few different..."
I tried using a few different discounts, but none of them actually seemed to apply at checkout. Maybe I missed something, but I’m curious if other people had better luck with this because I couldn’t get any savings to show up

"Coverage choices felt a little too boxed in"
I went on allstate.com to look through policy options and, i expected to find a bit more flexibility. The basic information was easy to get to, but once I started trying to compare add-ons and figure out what actually fit my situation, it got a little murky.
It kind of made me realize how much insurance is about feeling understood, not just picking from a menu. The coverage options weren’t awful, but they felt a bit one-size-fits-all, and I left the site still unsure instead of feeling clearer about what I needed
"Fair price and decent coverage"
I ended up choosing Allstate mostly because the price was better than what I was paying before. Getting the quote on allstate.com was straightforward, and the monthly payment felt a lot more reasonable for my budget.
A few things weren’t totally clear at first, so I did have to go back and double-check the details, but I appreciate when a company keeps the cost fair and doesn’t make people feel squeezed. Overall, it seems like a decent deal for the coverage, so I’d give it 4 stars

"Deductible details were harder to find than they should be"
I was on allstate.com trying to compare my options, and while the prices were easy enough to see, the deductible info felt kind of hidden. I had to click around more than I expected just to understand what I’d actually owe if I ever had to file a claim. It wasn’t the worst experience, but for something that important, it should be a lot clearer. If it stays this confusing, I’d consider looking at other insurance companies

"Feels reliable for the most part"
I’ve logged into Allstate’s website a handful of times to look over my policy and pay my bill, and to me it comes across as dependable. The login process is straightforward, and I haven’t run into anything that felt sketchy or caused any real problems. Some pages do take a little longer to load, and every now and then I have to dig around to find what I’m looking for, but overall my impression is that it’s a site I can trust.

"Recent support experience was decent"
I contacted customer service recently, and overall it was okay. The person who helped me was friendly and got the issue sorted out, but the wait felt long. Since that last experience is fresh in my mind, I’d say they’re helpful, just not the fastest...

"Good home insurance, not perfect"
So... I’ve had Allstate Motor Club for my home insurance for a while now, and overall it’s been a decent experience. My agent has been quick to respond whenever I’ve had questions, and the claim process went smoothly enough. The price is a bit higher than I’d like, but I’m still mostly happy with the coverage and service. I’d give it 4 stars.

"Way too much paperwork for basic stuff"
The site itself worked fine enough, but I kept having to send the same documents over and over, which got old fast. For something that should’ve been simple, the whole process felt slower and more annoying than it needed to be

"Complaint kind of went nowhere"
I put in a complaint thinking maybe it would get handled, but I just kept getting sent around to different people. They would tell me to wait and then more waiting happened, but nothing actually got fixed. It was frustrating, and it just felt not very helpful at all.
"I had to update a few things on..."
I had to update a few things on my policy, and honestly... it was straightforward. Nothing too complicated, just went through the steps and got it done okay.

"Claim dragged on forever"
My claim took way longer than it should have, and I had to keep chasing them just to get any kind of update. Every time I reached out, it felt like I was getting another policy excuse instead of real help. By the end, I was just frustrated and still didn’t feel like they actually did much for me.

"My renewal was a mess. The rate..."
My renewal was a mess. The rate suddenly jumped and I couldn’t get a clear explanation for why. I spent time trying to sort it out, and at this point I feel like some kind of compensation or adjustment would be fair.

"Online quote didn’t match the final price"
I got a quote on Allstate’s website and at first it seemed reasonable. But once I went to actually finish everything, the price jumped way higher. I’m assuming this is one of those cases where the online quote looks good upfront but doesn’t include everything until later. Either way, it felt like a waste of time and not very accurate.
